We only collect personal information required for Nepal Service Projects (NSP) volunteer programs and medical internships, always doing so fairly and transparently with your direct consent.

Volunteers and Donors: We collect names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and bank details to manage volunteer records, send updates, support grant applications, and process donations. Volunteers may also be asked to show proof of a Working with Vulnerable People card.
Partners & Prospective Staff: We collect names and addresses from partners for background and counter-terror finance checks, and may speak with previous employers or referees for prospective staff.
Website Analytics: Our website uses cookies to track usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though it may affect site functionality.

Anonymity

You can contact us or make a donation anonymously or using a pseudonym. However, choosing not to share personal information may prevent us from providing official tax-deductible receipts, letters of thanks, or full assistance with your queries.

How We Use and Share Your Information

We use personal information exclusively for its primary collection purpose unless you give explicit consent, it is closely related, or we are legally required to do so. We will always ask for your consent before publishing any donation information.

To organize National Parks passes, travel, and accommodation, essential personal details (name, address, phone number, date of birth) are shared with our planning and delivery partners in Nepal.

How We Store and Secure Your Information

Nearly all data is collected and stored electronically.

Electronic data is protected by secure user IDs, passwords, virus scanning, and privacy-compliant cloud storage.
Any rare printed documents are stored securely in a locked filing cabinet at our office.
All contracts include confidentiality clauses, and third-party providers must meet strict security standards.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information
